Meet the house gecko—my childhood nemesis. While I’ve always admired snakes and other reptiles, this tiny wall-hugger gave me the creeps like nothing else.
But guess what? Making this artwork helped me face my fear—layer by paper layer!
Now, I can proudly say I’m team gecko. Art really does have the power to transform us. If you’ve ever had herpetophobia (yep, that’s the real term!), you’re not alone—and there’s hope!
Herpetophobia is a specific phobia characterised by an intense, irrational fear of reptiles, particularly lizards and snakes. It can range from mild discomfort to panic attacks when encountering reptiles or even when thinking about them.

This Detailed art piece is completely hand cut on archival cold pressed cotton rag watercolour paper (Acid and Chlorine FREE, 200 GSM) with surgical Knife.
The artwork is painted with professional water colours.
CARE
However DO NOT emerge it in Water or any other liquids to prevent discolouration. Avoid contact with chemical liquids like hair spray, perfume, lotion, etc.
SHIPPING
The framed/unframed artwork will be placed in a handmade cardboard Hard Box and wrapped in a courier cover to avoid damage.
